Get an Edge with KTC:
If you’ve spent a summer in NYC, then you can’t have missed us. We are out every weekend selling our gorgeous KTC jewelry rain, wind or shine and have a flagship store location at 315 Columbus Avenue on the corner of 75th Street . Working in a boutique that isn’t limited by the clientele of one neighborhood is quite an adventure–especially in NYC! And we’d like to use this blog to tell you all about it. After all, there’s no better place to stay on top of trends than in the Big Apple. The influence of NYC women on our line is unmistakable!
We’ll bring you the latest styles and show you pictures of the customers who wear it best. We’ll show you what is selling where and tell you how to wear our pieces. When something is flying out of our boutiques, we’ll let you know before it is gone. And when we get that perfect piece made but we haven’t had time to put it online yet, you’ll find rough-and-ready i-phone shots here.
I had the privilege of joining the KTC team as a newcomer from Texas in December of 2011 by jumping straight into the holiday markets, selling jewelry during our busiest season. It was so much fun being emerged in that unique, vivacious environment and getting to know New York City through KTC’s amazing customers. I was hooked right away on the company and the city, so transitioning into the RSPOP shop in February and March was fantastic. Truth be told, hosting the popular wine evenings and mingling with the customers at the shop was one of my favorite tasks…
Now that we are back in the studio during the week and out at markets on the weekends, I am shifting my energy to working on the website as well as heading social campaigns for KTCollection. I like putting my previous experience as head of marketing for Tennis Now Magazine/ Website to use in promoting KTCollection through facebook, twitter, and other other online outlets. What drew me to KTCollection was the personality of the brand, the team, and how the collection reflects the vibe of New York City. I welcome the challenge to reflect that energy in the blog and to use my social networking expertise to spread the word online. I’ll continue to coordinate with all the ladies on the team as well as with Katie and Zoubir.
Basically, as our title suggests, we will offer straight talk in jewelry trends from the streets, and we welcome your comments and reactions.
We welcome a dialogue with all of you. Ideas? Comments? Reactions? Send them in!
