Where are you from? Lexington, VA

What are you doing in NYC? I moved to NYC 10 years ago thinking Zoubir and I would return to France after a couple of years. Well, we’re still here and it doesn’t look like we are going anywhere else. I think I am officially becoming a New Yorker. (Definition: can’t imagine living elsewhere.)

What do you love most about working for KTC? I feel lucky to be able to be creative everyday and to interact with such interesting people. Our collection is such a part of us and when customers appreciate it, we automatically have a connection.  I also love working with my husband Zoubir. We juggle work with taking care of our kids Sophia (5) and Liam (3). It all gets mixed up, but in the end it keeps everyday interesting.  And did I mention that seeking inspiration through travel is part of the job? LOVE that.

What KTC do you wear these days? The mixed metal martini.

Where are you from? The South of France

What are you doing in NYC? Katie and I met while she was studying in France.  I moved here to be with her 10 years ago. It doesn’t hurt that I love this city.

What do you love most about working for KTC? Every day is different.  I really enjoy managing the website and working with the photos.  I like making people happy with our jewelry.  And I love having a family business with my wife and being able to pick up my kids from school.

Where are you from? Houston, Texas with stints in Indonesia, China, Malaysia, & England

What are you doing in NYC? I came to New York City with no intention of staying but was supposed to just visit my boyfriend and work at the US Open in the summer of 2011. Before I knew it, I was signing a lease on an apartment. I now work on the website and social media for KTC.

What do you love most about working for KTC? I love the fun approach Katie takes to her business, the KTC “Wine Wednesdays,” and getting to chat with customers, who always have an interesting story to tell.

What KTC do you wear these days? I am on a citrine binge! I will always mix up the Gold and Silver Stacking Rings with the yellow citrine stones. I also have an affinity for the Mixed Nugget Bracelet because it matches everything and gives off the right amount of blingy shine.

Ann Marie

Where are you from? Brooklyn, NY

What are you doing in NYC? Frankly, I don’t think I would ever live elsewhere. Except for Paris maybe….

What do you love most about working for KTC? I am a bar-tender at heart. And in a way, working for KTC isn’t that much different. You get a lot of contact with great people, you are busy all the time, and even better, you get gorgeous jewels! Plus, I can still pick up my daughter Lola from school.

What KTC do you wear these days?  I am crazy about the rock candy rings. Actually, anytime Katie puts out new rings I usually grab one for myself.

Brianna

Where are you from? Manhattan, NY

What are you doing in NYC? Going to college, majoring in advertising and public relations for a career in marketing. Though my home is NYC, my long-time dream is to live in Europe for at least a year after graduating. I’m thinking Barcelona or London.

What do you love most about working for KTC? I enjoy learning about the different metals, stones and symbols in the collection, and seeing how Katie will use them in her designs. It’s fun observing women’s different styles, and helping new and return customers acquire pieces they have their eyes on.

What KTC do you wear these days? My favorites are the Vintage Oval Turquoise Gold Necklace and the Gold Mirror Earrings. They work well together for day or evening looks.

Dani

Where are you from? Jersey City, NJ.

What are you doing in NYC? Having grown up right across the river, I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in NYC one day. I started working as a full-time nanny a little over 2 years ago on the UWS as a way to pay for college. My eventual goal is to be a child psychologist. Now, between nannying  and working for KTC, I am even closer to graduating!

What do you love most about working for KTC? I love when someone comes to the store or booth excited about the jewelry. It is so fun to feed off of their energy, get to know their preferences, and help them find pieces they may not have thought of for themselves. Also, I love the originality of the collection. You really don’t see pieces like KTC everywhere!

What KTC do you wear these days? I love to wear the lariat. It’s so versatile and different. I’m also obsessed with the gold hoop earrings with the gold nuggets along the bottom!

Where are you from? Pasadena, CA

What are you doing in NYC? I spent two summers in college working for KTCollection on weekends while interning in the city.  After graduating in 2009,  I moved to New York  right in time for the holiday markets.

What do you love most about working for KTC? Watching people discover the line, helping return customers find a new piece to add to their collection and wearing the jewelry of course!

What KTC do you wear these days?   The long gold Ganesh necklace.

Lauren A

Where are you from? Waukesha, WI

What are you doing in NYC? I moved to NYC to dance with the Joffrey Ballet School’s trainee program. I currently dance and audition all over the city.

What do you love most about working for KTC? Meeting new people, helping others find the perfect gifts for people they care about and for me as well!

What KTC do you wear these days? The double happiness in gold and KTC’s medium square hoop earrings.

Where are you from? New Jersey, with stints in Singapore & England.

What are you doing in NYC? I work in Fashion Design as an assistant designer.

What do you love most about working for KTC? We have fun together! And we work at all the street fairs and the Holiday Markets in the city which allows us to be outside and connect with customers on a different level. It has also brought us this brilliant grassroots following. I love when people come into the popup shop and say,  “Oh I saw you guys at the winter market this year!” It shows that we did something right and made enough of a personal connection that they sought us out!

What KTC do you wear these days? The Gold Large Link Necklace and the Silver Small Link Necklace – not only can you wear them a million ways, but they also look amazing paired together!

Where are you from? Michigan originally, and I just moved to NY this past summer from Chicago.

What are you doing in NYC? Exploring the city and trying new things! I’m currently doing photography, retouching, photo assisting, and working on a small clothing collection with a friend.

What do you love most about working for KTC? I love learning about the collection and inspiration for Katie’s designs, and I love helping people find the perfect piece.

What KTC do you wear these days? My favorite piece is the tube necklace, I love how delicate it is and I think it looks beautiful on everyone.

Where are you from? Wurtsboro, NY

What KTC do you wear these days? Well my favorite earrings that I use for a little glamor to dress up or with a t-shirt are not up on the website.  Of course I don’t go a day without the 22k vermeil adjustable ring.  I keep it simple but it always makes me feel good.

What KTC do you wear these these days? What I love about KTCollection is that there are constantly new designs and the vintage pieces are so unique to the company. A favorite of mine is the Steel Vintage Chain necklace and the gold vintage knot. These designs are one of a kind.
